Our new family adventure explores the many charms of this Caribbean island, once the stamping ground of pirates. From the faded elegance of Havana, we make a magical tour of western Cuba starting with the delightful ‘Garden Province’ of Pinar del Rio. During the tour we spend time in the World Heritage towns of Cienfuegos and Trinidad, and for excitement and activity for all the family we swim with dolphins, take forest walks to spot exotic bird species, visit a crocodile farm and a coffee plantation, explore caves and waterfalls, and relax or play on Caribbean beaches lapped by crystal-clear water. With other optional activities available including horse-riding, snorkelling and visiting a desert island by Catamaran, this Caribbean holiday will have something for all the family - and more!

This trip is a mixture of touring and sightseeing with a range of optional activities including trekking, horse riding, swimming and snorkelling. The trekking elements of the itinerary are not difficult and are mostly along well-established trails through forest or between villages. Throughout the trip we stay in comfortable hotel accommodation. Many of the places we stay have a swimming pool. This trip is suitable for active families with children of age 8 and up.
