A new trekking adventure holiday to Egypt, walking and sailing along the Nile, with visits to explore the Pyramids, the Aswan Dam, the Valley of the Kings and Karnak. KE's unique itinerary to Egypt combines classic sightseeing and touring with easy trekking to get off the beaten track. Sailing down the Nile from Aswan to Luxor in a traditional felucca, we take every opportunity to go ashore to do some walking. We will explore colourful Nubian villages, walk amongst groves of date palms and explore monuments dating from the time of the Pharoahs. Trekking to the Pharoah's Quarry we'll experience authentic rural Egypt. Combining day-walking and a felucca trip, we have also included time for sightseeing in Cairo and a visit to the Pyramids. Other highlights of this unique walking and Nile sailing adventure holiday to Egypt include a visit to the Valley of the Kings and Karnak. Returning to Cairo we have a day to explore this bustling city of souks and bazaars.
