High up above the village of Hushe, at the head of the Gondokoro Glacier, Gondoro Peak (5650m / 18645ft) provides a physically demanding but straightforward climb. Its summit offers excellent mountain views, with the mighty Masherbrum (7821m / 25,809ft) just a few kilometres away to the west and Gasherbrum 1 (8086m / 26,684ft) to the north. With 2 weeks of trekking amongst arguably the world's most dramatic mountain scenery, this trip also provides a fascinating glimpse of the unique culture of the remote region of Baltistan. In short, this is a simply fantastic itinerary which has been tried and tested by several schools.
