Our mountain bike holiday to the South Island of New Zealand is close to Mountain Biking in paradise. With an incredible diversity of landscapes and trails our action packed bike journey in New Zealand takes us through breathtaking scenery and a wonderland of perfect biking trails. From biking the famous Queen Charlotte Singletrack along the spectacular coastal region of Marlborough Sound, to the Pinnacle Track in the Southern Alps, there's adventure, challenge and bike excitement all along the way. We bike off-road to reach isolated sheep stations and gold mining ghost towns and cycle amongst the foothills of dramatic peaks such as Mount Cook, New Zealand's highest. No adventure biking journey here would be complete without a stopover in Queenstown, the adventure capital of the world. Our biking extravaganza ends with a breathtaking optional whale watching tour off the Kaikoura coast.
Ride Guide
FAT TYRE ADVENTURE. Varied riding conditions, including broad paths and rough jeep roads with some sections of technically demanding singletrack. Practically all off-road, the trip comprises a series of day-rides from comfortable bases and is suitable for intermediate and experienced bikers. The support vehicle cannot follow the group during the day. Average 45 km/28 miles per day.
