Trekking holidays in Middle East
Rugged landscapes, traditional hospitality and great weather are all a part of the Middle East's appeal Lying between the eastern end of the Mediterranean and the Arabian Sea, the Middle East is a region steeped in history. Civilisation began here, as did 3 of the world's great religions - Islam, Christianity and Judaism. A succession of conquering empires, from the Egyptians and Assyrians to the Greeks, Romans and Ottomans, have each left their mark on this ancient territory. This is a land of romance and adventure; the setting for the Crusades, for the First World War escapades of T.E. Lawrence and for epic exploration such as the crossing of the 'Empty Quarter' by Wilfred Thesiger and his Bedouin companions. The options for trekking holidays in the Middle East are many and varied and we intend to expand our range of trips here in the next couple of years.
